Match events
Match events compares your dataset, your sends and your ad sets, then proposes event names Meta already knows.
Match events reads your dataset’s statistics for the last 28 days, your sends and the ad sets optimising on that dataset, then proposes an event name for every stage. After renaming you can resend the last 7 days of events.
What the video shows
Your campaign optimises for an event nobody sends.
The problem: an ad set waits for an event that never reaches the dataset.
Match events compares three sources.
Three cards: the dataset’s 28-day statistics, Convs sends and the ad sets. Below them a warning: an ad set optimises for an event nobody sends.
In plain words: what doesn’t match.
The panel: the Match events window. Each finding says what doesn’t match and why, followed by proposed names per stage that the dataset already knows.
Send what your campaigns optimise for.
